Coolest cell phones you can't get in the US - Forbes.com

I've been aware of this for some time.  So has anyone who's done regular business traveling to Asia or Europe.  I like that the article gave another nod to my own super cool smartphone, the Motorola Ming.  It's like two years old now and still getting attention.  And still not available in the US.

When the US started to lose heavy industry to other parts of the world (especially the third world), the pundits all said "that's ok because we're a white collar economy now."  That explanation was satisfying through the dot-com boom, but now we're losing our high tech industry to other parts of the world.  So what does that leave us?  And how long can we continue to be a world superpower if we're not the economic leader?  And once we cease to be the superpower, who's going to take our place?  And what's their vision for the world?
