I'm a Web Designer

I'm now available for freelance web design.

Why now?  Because I'm seizing the opportunity.  I recently joined the board of the Marriage Equality Legal Defense Fund and am working on redesigning their website (for free because it's a non-profit).  A couple attorneys have also asked me to redesign their sites (although we haven't signed anything yet).  Since I'm looking for work anyway, this may be the ideal way.  I still want to practice law, but the job market is still terrible and this will be a great opportunity for me in the mean time.

Why me?  Well if you've been visiting my site for the past few years, you know it's gone through a huge evolution.  It started as an embarassingly simple html site.  When I started my blog I installed a simple CGI web app.  The app turned out to be hard to use so I installed Wordpress, a professional quality blog.  Last year I outgrew Wordpress and upgraded to Drupal, an industrial-level content management system.  Drupal is used by large corporations like MTV, and it turns out that Drupal web designers get paid a lot for their work.  When I taught myself the system, I had no idea that I was giving myself a very valuable skill.

Since I'm officially advertising this service, I've created a page for my Drupal web design service.  Base service is $5,000 and it goes up from there.
