Look What I Made

Well ok, God made the heavens, but I made this.

Ever wonder what it would be like to stand on a moon of Mars and look up at the night sky?  What about Jupiter?  Saturn?  Here you go:

Inspiration comes from Brad Godspeed, who did this beautiful video showing what the night sky would look like if you replaced the Moon with other planets.  Software includes Celestia, Kazam, OpenShot, Gimp, and of course Ubuntu.  The font is Muli from Google Webfonts.  (That's right - this entire production was done using free and open source software.)

I hope one day humans will stand in each of these places and admire the view.
