Why I Hate Personal Weblogs
First of all, I think he's a little hard on the aspiring authors. Every artist has to start somewhere.
Second of all, he makes the assumption that the intended audience of every blog is everyone. That's not true either.
My blog has three intended audiences:

I've these browsers in the last month so I thought I'd do a review of all three.

I talked about this previously when I described my experience install windows and linux on the same laptop. I had the same experience with my friend's laptop; windows wouldn't recognize his network card or video card, whereas linux worked right out of the box. But here's something new.

So, it took me so long to get over my cold that I got a secondary infection. Now I have the flu. With a 103 degree fever. I went to the ER today and the nurse told me yup, I've got the flu. She sent me across the street to the clinic, where they told me that I couldn't see a doctor for six and a half hours. So I said "screw it" and went home.
And, I missed the Civil War reenactment at Ft. Point today. Double bummer for that!
Now I'm sitting in bed all drugged up and Yelena made chicken soup. With matzah balls. So, it's not all bad.

Gimp vs. Photoshop | GRIMTHING.COM
I know I've talked about this before but here it is again. Gimp and Photoshop are both professional-level photo editing programs. Photoshop is produced by Adobe Corporation and costs around $900 for the full program. Gimp is free and open-source.
So, which one is better? The answer: they're both the same, unless you're doing professional CMYK printing. If you don't know what that means, then the answer is simply: "they're the same."

I've ranted before on why I hate Apple Computer--sorry, I mean Apple, Inc.: they're an evil corporation just like Microsoft. The only difference is they put a smiley face on it. I like my bullshit straight up. Bill Gates never pretends he's saving the world; "Yes, I'm a rich nerd and I want to make money off of you."

Now they're registering with my gallery, just to upload viruses. So, another rule change: now all new members of my gallery have to be personally approved by me, and they require email verification from you as well. I usually check my email only once a day so it might take up to 24 hours for you to register with my gallery. I know that's a pain, but it's the only way to keep the spammers and hackers out.

Step 1: Upgrade to version 2.0 (beta)
Step 2: Get all your old extensions to work: 3 Ways to Make Old Extensions Compatible with Firefox 2.0 at Perfect Blogger
Is Firefox 2.0 really better than the older version? It has some new features that I like (like when it crashes and you restart, it will offer to restore all your old windows), but I'll admit most users should stick with the older stable version for now.
