Pelosi leads Dems to early victories / Speaker fulfills pledge to pass key bills in new Congress' first 100 hours

This is what I'd hoped: a newly reinvigorated Democratic party under a tough leader, who's willing to fight hard and get things done.  Of course, the biggest test--Iraq--is still a head.  But this is one hell of a start.

Hurrah for the "San Francisco liberal!"
