My posts now automatically appear on my Facebook feed.  This kinda kills the point of Facebook's new reorganization.  I've read that the reason they changed things yet again was to compete with Twitter, a program that lets you quickly update your status any time.  I don't "tweet," at least not yet, but if I'm going to make announcements online I'm more likely to do it through my blog anyway.  Now that my blog is connected to Facebook, I'm much less likely to use the Facebook status update feature any more.

Two pieces of baby news:  Nathan can recognize patterns, and Nathan can interact with inanimate objects.

Most books and articles on digital photo processing only give basic advice for color correction, like "use Levels" or "make an S-curve."  Let's take it one step further.

My sister Amy is back in town on spring break from her PhD program on the East Coast.  Hooray!  Yesterday Amy & I went up to visit my baby sister Sarah at Davis.  That's right, my baby sister is a senior in college.  No, I don't want to talk about it.  Yelena & Nathan came along so it was a real party.
