I live to fight another day
Today I did 165 pages of reading. That's about 50% more than I've done on any single day since finals started. Probably more than I've done on any single day during law school. It took me 14.5 hours, including study breaks. Approximately 7.5 hours of actual studying time (not including breaks, eating, etc.). That averages to 22 pages an hour, which is about double what I can usually do.
That's right, 10 pages an hour is decent for legal reading. Especially when you've been doing 100 pages a day for two weeks. Since finals began I've read approximately 750 pages. You do the math.
Why the big push? Because I'm doing a take-home final tomorrow. 24 hours. I wanted to cover all the reading first.
I can no longer see straight and I can't stop thinking about a popular science fiction show where they're constantly attacked by evil robots. (I keep telling myself: "Launch all fighters. Set Condition 1 throughout the ship.") But, I got my reading done. Tomorrrow I'm doing that take-home. Then I'll have three down, only one to go.
Party on.
