Just in case you weren't already convinced of Google's awesomeness, here comes Google Voice.

Google Voice is basically an answering service.  You call one number, and it tries all your other numbers.  If it can't reach you, it takes a message.  Of course, this is Google, so they've added a bunch of other crazy features:

I recently came across a fantastic op-ed in the NY Times about the state of the music industry.  As an early adopter of music-related internet technology, I've had front row seats as the RIAA has slowly crashed and burned . . . and lashed out at their own customers.
