I'm still here!  After 11 years on Drupal 7, I've upgraded.  It goes to 11 now.

Silly Me

I spent most of the day trying to find a Drupal plugin that would automatically send my blog posts to Facebook.  I finally found one--Ping.fm--but it's clunky and woefully undocumented (at least in terms of Drupal integration).  Then, after midnight, the elegant solution smacked me in the face.

Facebook has a built-in blog importer.

Maybe I should go to sleep now.

He Rolled Over!

Nathan rolled over for the first time today!

This would have been a big deal for any kid, but even moreso with Nathan, since he was born small and a month premature (IUGR - intra-uterine growth restricted).  We've been working hard to get him to grow and the doctor says he's still only 25th percentile.  That's a lot better than when he was born (3rd percentile) but still small.  Also, even though he's been out of the whomb for five and a half months, his gestational age is only four months.  We've been very conscious of this as we've watched him grow.

New Gallery: Swearing In

In case you haven't heard, I'm a lawyer now.  Got sworn in last week.  Hillariously, the ceremony was at the Oakland Convention Center, where I took the exam twice (passed the second time).  I was expecting it to just be a formality, but it actually felt very meaningful when I was there.  They had several federal judges and convened a session of the Federal Court for the Northern District of California.  A US attorney made a motion to admit, and the clerk swore us in on the record.  My wife and mom were there and I got to hold my son as I took the oath.
