A few months ago my reenacting club, the ACWA, did a reenactment at Fort Point.  For those of you who don't know, Ft. Point is a Civil War fortress located under the Golden Gate Bridge.  We've been reenacting at Ft. Point for years, but this time was special.  It was the first time in forty years that the National Park Service has allowed someone to stay in the fort overnight.

That's right.  An overnight reenactment at Ft. Point.

One of my conservative friends recently spoke out in defense of torture.  This shouldn't even be a subject of conversation among civilized people and the fact that talking heads on Fox News think this is up for discussion just shows how much they've lost touch.  But in case you need convincing, here's my argument.
