I like anticipation.  If someone gives me a present early and tells me not to open it until my birthday, I have no trouble complying.  I'll put the wrapped present on display and look at it every day, savoring the feeling.

Maybe that's why I haven't blogged about the Governor of Alaska until now.  I've been savoring the anticipation.

Here we go.

Another under-the-hood improvement to my blog.  This time, integration with my gallery.  Why is this special?  Because now I can link directly to photos in my gallery, like so:

Being stuck at home with mono means I get to watch a lot of movies. Here are some notable ones.

That's why I haven't updated in a while.  That's also why I've gotten nothing done in the past week.  And I'm too out of it to even think of a clever title for this post.

"My goodness, that sounds serious.  What is it?"

Yelena: "I should do a class action lawsuit against Chase Bank for polluting the planet with all their junkmail."

Me: "Damages must be concrete and individuated."

Yelena: "They are.  My kids are going to suffer because of global warming because they're cutting down all the trees."

Me: "I don't think that passes the test for concrete and individuated."

Yelena: "You're a bad lawyer."

Me: "You can win and get millions of dollars!  Now am I a good lawyer?"

Yelena: "Yes."
