Gimp vs. Photoshop

Gimp vs. Photoshop | GRIMTHING.COM

I know I've talked about this before but here it is again.  Gimp and Photoshop are both professional-level photo editing programs.  Photoshop is produced by Adobe Corporation and costs around $900 for the full program.  Gimp is free and open-source.

So, which one is better?  The answer: they're both the same, unless you're doing professional CMYK printing.  If you don't know what that means, then the answer is simply: "they're the same."

Damn WaMu

I've ranted before on why I hate Apple Computer--sorry, I mean Apple, Inc.: they're an evil corporation just like Microsoft.  The only difference is they put a smiley face on it.  I like my bullshit straight up.  Bill Gates never pretends he's saving the world; "Yes, I'm a rich nerd and I want to make money off of you."

Damn spammers, again

Now they're registering with my gallery, just to upload viruses. So, another rule change: now all new members of my gallery have to be personally approved by me, and they require email verification from you as well. I usually check my email only once a day so it might take up to 24 hours for you to register with my gallery. I know that's a pain, but it's the only way to keep the spammers and hackers out.

How to make firefox even fancier

Step 1: Upgrade to version 2.0 (beta)
Step 2: Get all your old extensions to work: 3 Ways to Make Old Extensions Compatible with Firefox 2.0 at Perfect Blogger

Is Firefox 2.0 really better than the older version?  It has some new features that I like (like when it crashes and you restart, it will offer to restore all your old windows), but I'll admit most users should stick with the older stable version for now.
