"Can I read my Linux files in Windows?"

Yes.  Yes you can.  In fact, it's amazingly easy.

Can ya Digg it?

My blog is even fancier now. Like one of my articles? Think the whole world should know about it? Thanks to a new plugin, now you can automatically submit it to a social news site like Digg, Del.icio.us, etc. I only picked the most popular ones, but if you think I should add another one, let me know!

"Is that from Dungeons and Dragons?"

Someone asked me this today on my way to school.  I'm wearing my "Screw, I'm a 3L" t-shirt.  He was wondering if it was a reference to third-level characters from a popular role-playing game.  Maybe he imagined the context of low-level characters facing a high-level monster and saying "screw it" and walking away.
No, it's not.

This came up on Digg and while I agree with a lot of it, I also felt the need to argue.  I am a law student, after all.

Al Gore - Tell Congress to act on global warming

I foreswore chain emails a long time ago (someone sent me this as an email), but a blog is probably a better method of outreach anyway.

Do politicians in Washington always follow the people's will?  No.  But they do pay attention.  Believe me, I used to work there.  They listen.

Congratulations, buddy. Pictures are online but there's a password to protect the guilty. But you can still see the video of my buddy Matt rockin' the mike.

This one won't change your outlook on the internet.  But it's still cool.

I'm kinda smart?

Great guide.  Uses a free piece of software that's available for Linux, Mac, or Windows.  My cell phone now sounds like the Star Trek communicator.  Awesome.

News flash: I'm a nerd (but not a dork)

Pure Nerd
69 % Nerd, 43% Geek, 17% Dork
For The Record:

A Nerd is someone who is passionate about learning/being smart/academia.
A Geek is someone who is passionate about some particular area or subject, often an obscure or difficult one.
A Dork is someone who has difficulty with common social expectations/interactions.
You scored better than half in Nerd, earning you the title of: Pure Nerd.

The times, they are a-changing. It used to be that being exceptionally smart led to being unpopular, which would ultimately lead to picking up all of the traits and tendences associated with the "dork." No-longer. Being smart isn't as socially crippling as it once was, and even more so as you get older: eventually being a Pure Nerd will likely be replaced with the following label: Purely Successful.

Congratulations!
